Bringing Web Push Notifications to Frappe ![]()
Recently, I had some free time and decided to upgrade the push notification app I had developed earlier in Frappe v14. Now, it’s fully compatible with the latest version of Frappe ![]()
Since Frappe still doesn’t provide full-fledged web push notifications out-of-the-box, this upgrade was both a useful and exciting challenge.
What it can do now:
Works on Android, iOS (Safari), and desktop browsers
Deployable on On-Premise, Frappe Cloud, or any local server — and tested in all environments ![]()
Integrates smoothly with Frappe’s notification system
Brings real-time, flexible updates for end users
