I would like to understand the concept of salary withholding in ERPNext and its practical applications. Specifically, what is salary withholding, and how does it function within the ERPNext framework?

Ok, nice videos but the logic behind this is still unclear to me. Could I withold end of year bonus so that each month employee works it generates as widtheld Salary Component. Then at the end of year or employee terminates employement I can release that bonus (salary component) but to that moment?
So basically: lets say employee A starts working on 2nd of Jan 2025. Works still 12th December 2025, I will give them a bonus worth 10% of their monthly wage but payable at end of the month.
Optionally, if employee leaves 6 months into the job, they can request the full amount of their accrued bonus upto date of relieve?
Accounting wise this remains as Accounts Payable until encashment date.
Would this be correct?
