Why Budgeting is not working

Hi,

I created a budget with cost center advertising and monthly distribution equal for all month

account i created budget for Expense account with amount as 8500.Then i tried to create a purchase invoice with an item with rate 9500 Expense account as entertainment expense and cost center as advertisement

when i click save the Expense account changing to Stock Received But Not Billed - S

please help me to create a budget successfulllyyyyy

Your question does not have enough information.

  • Please check your item configuration- Expense Account.

  • Once you are submitting the invoice please check update stock if you are not making purchase receipt of the item.

Check whether you created it as a stock item or service item. If you tick the maintained stock field, it is a stock item. Only service item purchase invoices will effect the expense accounts directly
