Why docker very slow in windows?

I did a local setup in Windows, but its works very slowly. I allocated 6 CPUs & MemorySize 6GB eventhough its working very slow i don’t know why im using WSL for windows any one have any suggesstion please give me some Idea.

It is using Linux based containers. It needs to run Linux VM on top of windows. Containers run on VM and not directly on windows host.

Linux based containers don’t require VM to run on Linux host.

Any solution to improve the performance? My laptop is spec is

  • 16GB RAM
  • 512GB SSD
  • 4GB Graphics Card
  • RYZEN 5 4000 series

You can directly setup the application in the local machine. It will increase the performance for windows.
