Adding installer for windows would be good idea. There are lots of good things happening in WSL2 in windows 10. Smooth and easy installation on windows would be appreciated. Is there any plan to officially support it and to include the ‘how’ in the documentation??
The only OS that is really supported is Debian. Even support for the other linux systems is maintained mostly by volunteers, I think. Windows is a far way from here. The easiest would be to use a virtual machine on windows.
I am in support of this. For almost two weeks now, I have not been able to successfully install ERPNext on Windows using WSL (Ubuntu 18.04 & 20.04) only later to discover that it’s not supported.
Just don’t waste your time on this I‘d say.
