Withholding Tax

We currently use OpenERP v7 and are considering moving to an alternative, possibly ERPNext. For our Thailand operation, we are required to handle various withholding taxes, create monthly reports for submission to tax office, make any relevant payments to tax office and produce supplier certificates for withheld amounts on invoices.

Searching through the documentation and Blog for “withholding tax” comes-up with nothing. Does anyone know if and how would this could be handled in ERPNext?

You can modify the Chart of Accounts and add “Withholding Tax” and add it to you tax structures. See this:

There is no such module for Thailand out of the box. You can build reports from the ERPNext report builder, or engage a freelancer / service provider for customizations.
