Importing data from another ERP system, There is an existing list of Work Orders as well as their associated Serial Numbers from the previous system. I am trying to connect the existing Serial Numbers while importing the Work Orders, but have not been successful.
I have tried importing the Work Orders without submitting them and then importing the Serial Numbers, mentioning the associated Work Order. The Work Order shows the connection to the Serial Number, however, once submitted a second Serial Number is auto generated and connected to the Work Order also.
I have tried importing the existing Serial Numbers before importing Work Orders, but mentioning the Serial Number in the Work Order import file is not supported.
What is the proper procedure to import Work Orders with existing Serial Numbers from another ERP system into ERPNext?
