You can't set 'Options' for field Status

For the context.

I want to add new option to it. I know from the other similar question on this forum that it is not allowed for some business logic reason.

But what is the workaround for this? Can I hide it?

Create a property setter for options on this field.

Anyway, status would being used across code. Be careful.
