please kindly specify your problem in a more descriptive way. It’ll only waste everybody’s time to guess what issue you may be facing and not get you the solution you are looking for.
Give the user “Item Manager” Role.
Item Variant Setting is under Item Manager role only.

Even when using the Admin account with all roles, I cannot create item variants from an item template. The error is the one displayed in @Aniket_Shinde1’s post above.
Same here. I have all roles in my user acct, and also have tried with admin acct.
It is the same for me. Think this must have appeared within the last few days/week. Think it might be the same issue as in this post: [bug] "You do not have enough permissions to access this resource" - #9 by audunab
Dude the issue is what u can see in picture , a fresh deployment and I cannot create a variant
have specified the version details as well.
If still have to guess the issue then obviously you are wasting time.
I had to create it there as well as i wasn’t sure which one would grab attention at earliest
