We have customers who are using ERPNext to manage drop shipping of items.

To use drop-shipping we are planning to use following process,
1) create and submit Purchase Order for same items
2) create and submit stock entry same items.
3) create and submit Sales order same items.
4) create and submit delivery note same items.
All the above steps will run from backend when any item sold using drop-shipping.
Is this right approach . Please suggest?

In standard drop-shipping cycle, Purchase entry is posted after sales transactions. Here are the steps.
Sales Order: Make Sales Order with Customer's Billing and Shipping address.
Delivery Note: Company will send Delivery Note to their Supplier, with customer's Shipping Address. Supplier will directly make dispatch at the customer address. Stock will turn negative when you make Delivery Note.
Make Purchase transactions. When you make Purchase Receipt, negative effect on stock will be nullified and stock level become zero.

1) create and submit Purchase Order for same items
2) create and submit stock entry same items.
3) create and submit Sales order same items.
4) create and submit delivery note same items.
