Is there such a thing as a "Project Master"

I’m struggling to understand how project data relates to master data.

I recall reading the “master records” in ERPNext are: Company, Item, Customer, Supplier, Contact, and Address (sorry, don’t have the reference). Is this correct? How are master records different from other data, specifically project data? Does this mean project data is not “master data”?

We have section called “Master” in the Setup module. It list document (as stated in your message) which are very basic, and needed to get started with creation of transactions (like Quotations, order and invoices).

Each module has detailed list of master (under Document and Setup section). In that sense, Project module also has its own transactions and master. But its not listed under Master section because you can complete transactions without Project master as well.
