Item alternative - V11

I am looking for a item alternative feature for selecting one from the multiple items as alternative to an (raw material) item. Some of the similar previous post are Item Alternative
BOM components alternative

Can someone let me know if this feature has been included in V11? If not any work around?

I am getting the option to choose only one item as alternative. How do we initiate multiple items as alternative to a single item?
