I am facing the exact same problem discussed in this old, now closed topic. Item group filtering for parent item groups should filter all items under the different item groups that might be sub-childs of the parent node. Filtering Item list on parent Item Group
For eg. in my system I have created 3 parent groups under “parts and components” parent group:
moulded parts
machined parts
outsourced/readymade parts
When I filter “parts and components”, the result is nothing wheras technically it should return all parts with any of the above item groups selected. Shouldn’t this be a fairly simple and logical change to consider in the next update(s)?
