Dear community,
First of all, I want to thank Frappe and the community for coming up with this feature. Project Template is no doubt a great tool that can help to standardized the SOP/practice of similar projects which can greatly reduce our time in creating new projects. However, it lacks certain features/fields which are already available in Project Tasks doctype.
The following fields are:
- Is Group checkbox
- Milestone checkbox
- Dependent Tasks child table
If the above features/fields are added in the “already-automating” Project Template, it would further enhance the usability of Project Template.
Without this enhancement, it would be a hassle and sometimes challenging to search and edit all tasks individually.
