Remove Mandatory for Employee Date Of Birth?

I want to remove Mandatory for Date Of Birth field in the New Employee Form, I tried removing mandatory checkbox, but its giving error… “Row 16: Not allowed to disable Mandatory for standard fields”

How can I remove this Mandatory?

You cannot. Your best bet is to use some value for the Date of Birth field so that you workaround this constraint.

I think it’s for calculating retirement date and for the birthday email.

The fact that ERPNext sends a birthday email automatically and by default is quite unprofessional, in my opinion. It’s a terrible reason to make the field mandatory!
