Search Fields

Hello All,


1 I have added a custom field(like ‘barcode_no’) in item doctype.
2 I have added barcode_no in search fields of customize form of Item table and update it.
3 After i have refresh setup and click on new stock entry
4 I want item(Item Code) should be search by Barcode No in stock entries items table.
5 When i click in list of ‘search by’, it does not show option Barcode No. It show only default values like ID,Item Name,Item Group,Description,Customer Code.
6 Please guide me, how can i insert Barcode No in search option for item table

Hi Rohit,


1. Item doctype already have Barcode field, no need to add a new field.

2. In customize form of Item table, update "barcode" in search fields & Update. After successful attempt it will throw message "Updated."
