This replaces the legacy Email system in Frappe in addition it offers a full Mailserver based on Stalwart. Managed service over FrappeCloud will be available but you can also self host.

If you are dependent on Microsoft or Google then following this project would probably be the better way. But from Frappes side, the legacy email system will probably not receive much love soon.
