Import Data: Not Permitted

Hi,

I am trying to give access to a marketing personnel to upload marketing contacts to LEADS. However, it pops-up a message “Import Data: Not Permitted”.

We’ve tried to switch on/off many different permission and still not working.

Please advise what exactly needs to be done to allow a marketing to IMPORT DATA to LEAD List.

Hi,
Check whether Doc Type have permission of “Allow Import” or not

Go to setup → customize → DocType
Select DocType ,
In permission setting -
select Allow Import,
then you can export/import using data import tool.

Then Go to “Role Permission Manager”
Select Document Type=Lead
Role- Marketing Personnel
select “import” option
