Unable to drag rows to reposition child table fields

Continuing the discussion from How do we insert above or below a particular row in grid?:

Installed latest version, no customisations done. Currently on
erpnext 10.0.8
frappe 10.0.9

But am still not able to drag rows in child table in any form. Is there any setup/config that am missing?

Hi @krithi_ramani Had same problem with Win 10 touch enabled laptop on Chrome 64 bit. Disable Touch using Chrome Flag (chrome://flags) and it works.

drag and drop does not work in chrome (or opera), it does work in firefox and edge i also tested opera and neon (who are also based on chromium), and it does not work, so I am confident that this feature does not work in all chromium based browsers. I used up to date versions of all. I also experience strange ‘scrolls’ if I want to edit something in a table. The page scrolls up, and I have to manually scroll down to go back to the edit field.
